| Posting Anonymously Posts: 51,947 Join Date: Dec 2007 | I feel stupid asking this because my spanish is really good, but I just can't quite figure out how to translate the phrase "What did I ever do to you?" grammatically, can anyone help me? |

| Guest | It's not that easy since in Spanish there's not an exact equivalent to 'ever', so you have to change the structure of the sentence. I think the phrase would be something like "¿Qué es lo que alguna vez te hice?", which sounds rather awkward to my ears. "¿Alguna vez te hice algo?" is not such a literal translation but it sounds more natural to me. |
