How to transport a dildo

so

this is going to sound completely absurd:

i bought a dildo a while back, and pretty soon im going to be moving across the country for school. this is where the fun starts, how do i pack it and go for a fly without it being detected (by my parents coming with me - cuz lets be honest, the bag people are gunna have a chuckle when its x-rayed)

ideas?

I don't know how you're going to be able to get it through if you're hoping NO ONE will see it. I seriously doubt anyone working in security would care though, unless it's like a crazy one. Even then, I'm sure they see that stuff every day. And if you check your bag, your parents aren't going to see anything. Just wrap it up safely and put it in the bottom of your bag that you check when you get to the airport.

I'm pretty sure that would work. Otherwise, if you're still worried, perhaps mail it?

Unless you're flying into Mexico, where they re-scan all the bags after you collect them, and then snicker loudly and call their co-workers over to look at the x-ray once they realize what they're looking at. Not that I know anything about that.

And I also don't know anything about accidentally leaving my passport in my checked bag (tucked in beside my brand-new strap-on) and not realizing it until I'm about to get on the plane, and then having the airline staff tell me they'll have to rifle through my bag to find the passport for me because I'm not allowed to handle it once it's been through security. Nope, nothing like that ever happened to me.

Ahem. Sorry, OP, I have no advice for you about how to hide your dildo from your parents.

Here's a crazy idea, heh. Put it in an appropriately sized box. Wrap it in birthday/christmas/whatever wrapping paper and put it in the bottom of the bag you're checking. Don't let your parents find out about your fake present to yourself though. That's the best idea I've got. Good luck!

Haha. I catch a plane to and from university.

At the bottom of my suitcase is always an array of condoms, lube and other special things. I'm sure they see this stuff all the time. And at least here I don't even see the scans when my luggage is going through security.

Sending it through the mail wouldn't be a bad idea. If you have a general address or idea of where you'll be moving, just get yourself a P.O Box and mail it. Or mail it to a friend who wouldn't care, who'd then forward it to you.

Mail it to yourself. Save yourself the embarrassment of having one of those TSA "We opened your luggage" notices on the inside of your suitcase when you arrive.

Why not just buy a new one? I don't know how much one could cost but if they are not too expensive buy one over there. If that doesn't work out then e-mail it to yourself
