Love Poem - Empty Closets - A safe online community for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgendered people coming out

I have writen a love poem for my girlfriend and she is here so I'm putting it here so she doesn't know it's for here. It is based on the song "Heaven", and I made a few changes to the wording. Here it is.

You're all that I'll ever want,
With you lying here in my arms.
I'm finding it hard to believe,
we aren't in heaven.

Thinking about our younger years,
when there was only you and me,
We were young and wild and free.

Nothing will take you away from me,
We have been there before,
but all that is over now,
and we keep coming back for more.

You're all that I ever wanted,
with you lying here in my arms
Your love is all that I'll need,
and I found it here in your embrace,
I'm finding it hard to believe,
we aren't in heaven.

Nothing will change what you mean to me,
There is a lot I could say,
but just keep hugging me now,
I'll still love you either way.

You're all that I'll want,
With you laying here in my arms.
Love is all that I will ever need,
and I found it there in your heart,
I'm finding it hard to believe,
we haven't gone to heaven.

Now that all our dreams are true,
Through the good times and the bad,
I'll be standing there by you.

Your love is all that I'll ever need,
and I found it there in your heart.
Now I'm starting to see,
We really are in heaven.
