I was just holding a bottle of pills and I almost did it. the only thing that stopped me was because I know it would hurt my family, that's really the only thing that keeps me going. I hate feeling this way but ive been forcing a smile for years and it's just getting worse. nothing in my life has ever worked out for the better. I really don't know what to do anymore

I just want to say congratulations on stopping yourself. It can be extremely hard to stop yourself when you are about to do it. I want you to talk to somebody. Even if it's me. I have been suicidal before and I even had it planned out, but thanks to my parents and my best friend/crush back then (which is my girlfriend now) I am here. It will be very hard, but it is possible to pull through. I believe in you.

Talk to someone. A best friend maybe. Everyday I go to a private school, listen to homophobes talk about how homosexuals are disgusting, and spend an hour reading a magical book sent from the heavens for answers. Sorry for being sarcastic but I am a devote Christian. I hate sounding like a religious nut but God works everything out for the best. Maybe you have yet to realize how whatever you are going through is the best in the end.

There is this place where you can send anonymous email to and they will reply to you no matter what. Also they don't care enough to reply until a week or two later, so they definitely won't care about your identity. Anyways, I can't list the address here...but try google.

I'm not saying that you should talk to someone. Do what makes you happy. But, I do want you to know that there are always someone that wants to talk to you...like me. If you don't wanna talk about your problems, I'll tell you mine - they're quite entertaining!

I definitely know what that feels like. But things DO get better and they gradually continue to get better as you grow older. I don't know what's making you feel this way. But, for me? It's how fucked up my biological father made me by leaving me for dead - in a country where the police kill street kids, so yeah he actually didn't care if I lived or died. Anyways, even with that shitty of a back story - things have gotten better. Basically saying anyone, whether those with fucking lousy pasts or those going through rough patches, can make it through and that with age it does get better.

I know how you feel. I almost did too. I even planned how I was going to do it. But I sought help. Can you find a counsellor? Because once you deal with these things, life gets much, much better.
