| Posting Anonymously Posts: 34,191 Join Date: Dec 2007 | Okay so im 17 going on 18 and i physically have a desire to be male.idk why.its liek s trong desire/passion that burns in my heart.i want it but im physically female.does that mean im transgender and my gender is male?cuz no cisgender person wants to be the opposite sex liek this.they say lil things like"i wih i was a guy to nto have my period..or"i wish i was a guy so people wouldnt make fun of me for wearing guy clothes.."or i was i was a girl so people wouldnt make fun of me for liking guys"but itsn ot liek tht with me.i just have a desire ot be one and i want it soooo bad!! |

Make sure it's what you really want, because there is only so many times you can swap your gender. ![]() If you come to the conclusion that you really want to go through with it, go with your parents to see a doctor who specializes in gender reassignment surgery. (I think that's the politically correct term nowadays.) I have many friends who were born one gender but changed it. Most of them got a gender change either in high school, or shortly there-after. I even have a friend who had the surgery all the way back in the 1960s. They are all happier and healthier because of it. I'm not transgendered myself, so if I left anything out I apologize profusely. | |

| Posting Anonymously Posts: 34,191 Join Date: Dec 2007 | Talk to your parents and tell them you're questioning your gender and you'd like to speak with a Therapist who specialisis in Gender. Google Beckyslist, it'll have a list of therapists. He'll diagnose you with Gender identity disorder and help you on getting hormones, and any surgery you may want. It'll be a long road, but stick to it and you'll get there. I wish you luck. |

| Posting Anonymously Posts: 34,191 Join Date: Dec 2007 | @boi70y,thank u for the help..and no,the onyl thing u got wrong is that i wouldnt be changing my gender,i woudl eb changing my sex.gender is betwee nthe ears,sex is between the legs.i would be changing my sex to match my gender.does that make sense to u?but thank u so much and @anonymous,i cant cuz we dont have that kind of money and my dad would flip.i have bout 4 months till i turn 18 so ima have to wait until al il after tht |
