Flamboyant guy getting all the attention

Today I found out some friend of my best friend came out to her by telling her he would invite a gay guy to get a coffee. This gay guy is one of those gays who wears rainbows, glitter and such and has pictures of himself half-naked on FB.

My best friend's friend is really cute, I met him once and he has a great personality. Am I jealous of him asking out that gay guy? Yes. It's just I don't get why you have to be slutty and exhibicionist in order to get guys to ask you out.

Right now I really don't care being alone, I guess I'm used to it but I'd like to know. When will someone ask me out? Does someone ever checks me out? I think not.

Oh and by the way, other close friends have told me they'd consider asking him out. It appears everyone wants to get into his pants but I really am not attracted to him at all. Am I the only one?

Personally I'm not attracted to those kinds of guys, and I know I'm not the only one. They may be physically attractive, but I wouldn't want a relationship with one. He's getting all that attention because he's attracting it to himself. You might be less "visible" as a gay guy and that might be why you think no one will ask you out. Don't sweat though, you'll meet someone who thinks the same way
