Just wanted to get a general idea from other gay guys when it comes to shaving down there. What's most attractive in your opinion?

I had posted this previously and it was one that must have got delted due to the error with the site... but mine was more specific to a certain "area"

So I figure I will just add it as a continuance to this thread.

I am familiar with landscaping of the front appendage and I am happy and fine with that.

What I am curious about pertains to the "back entry"

What do guys prefer? Natural or Shaven?

Since I recently started fooling around with guys I need to start maintaining that area but I don't really understand how it is done -- and by that I mean quite literally. If you are to remove the hair, what is the easiest and pain free way of doing it?

With shaving I am concerned I will cut myself if I cant see what I am doing?

Ah this was a thread I was trying to reply to during the bug....

Front side, I prefer to trim a lot, normally shaving/nair for men'ing everything but a tiny patch above my penis. I don't like a lot of hair on my man either as it tends to get in the way sometimes during foreplay and oral...

To answer the 'back door' question, I prefer smooth there too. My bf and I have recently started exploring rimming and it's a lot more appealing to be bare back there than have hair in the way...as far as the method - I use a combo of CAREFULLY applying Nair for Men and shaving with a normal facial razor and shaving cream...I normally do it in the bath tub very carefully or looking in the mirror so I know where I going with things...and after I use TONS and TONS of lotion to sooth the sensitive skin after...

As a matter of personal preference, i get rid of all of mine. I don't have problems with ingrown hairs and never have, so i'm happy shaving my front.

It's a bit more awkward to reach the backdoor. To be honest, when i'm reading a book in bed or some such i'll lie on my side and use one hand to hold the book, with the other down the front/back plucking away hair by hair, or sometimes a few at a time. It doesn't hurt around that area at all, until you start getting closer to your sack... then it's a bit "eech" and that's where the razor is handy.

[edit] lie on a towel or something though... Something to catch the carnage. Pain in the arse (lulz) to clean up otherwise.

Oh, that was the question.

It's 100% down to personal preference. My advice is do what makes you feel sexy. If you have no preference either way, i don't think there's any problem in asking for input from whomever you happen to be sleeping with.
