I have had one sexual partner EVER (oral or otherwise) - my current girlfriend. This morning I woke up and had to pee. When I went to wipe myself I had this painful almost pimple like bump on the inside lips of my vagina. Simply put I am freaking out. Like I said, I know I should see a doctor and not have any sexual contact till then, but it is painful so is there anything else I can do? My girlfriend and I were both virgins before we got together so I'm hoping it is not a STI, but I have no idea. |

Until you can get an appointment with a doctor, I'd recommend taking warm baths or applying a warm cloth to encourage it to pop naturally. Sometimes, they're stubborn though and you may need to get it medically lanced, or if it has abscessed, be put on antibiotics. Even if it pops, I would still keep the appointment in case it's infected. Try not to touch it much and refrain from sexual activity. |
