Okay I've been wondering this one for a while and really didn't want to post it anon or otherwise because truthfully it's just a huge over share but alas here I am.

Sidebar -- I am on my phone and it doesn't have spell check and I have no idea how to spell the word for the topic issue I am about to bring up so I am sorry in advance for spelling it wrong.

Hemroids or however you spell it.

So long story short -- I have one. I've had it since I was about 20.

I don't know if there is like levels of badness or different degrees or whatever... Anyway I never paid it much mind cause it really doesn't bother me that much. From time to time it will act up but naturally takes care of itself -- generally if I start a new job which requires a lot of sitting is when it happens.

Anyway how does play out during anal sex? I've never done it before and curious about it.

This has been one of my biggest reservations about letting a guy go in that area at all... So what is the dealio. Is it possible? Is there some way to get rid of this issue that isn't surgery, etc, etc

My family is apparently prone to hemorrhoids. I know my father AND my brother have sought medical help for them (in way or another), my mother has them on occasion, and I've had them twice. And, like you, it's really no big deal. When I get one, I forget all about it until I go to the bathroom, and they're rarely even so much as tender.

Not being a bottom on a regular basis, I can't really answer your question vis-a-vis anal. Since it's technically just a small blood clot stuck in the ring, I'm assuming that so long as there's no pain or tenderness involved, you should be fine with anal. (You might want to go extra-overboard on the lube, however.) If there's any pain or tenderness, I'd just stick with other thing for the time being.

KB will probably have some more learned medical info for you, so I'd defer to him.

For most people, hemorrhoids come and go. For some people, they can become chronic and require a little more than just treatment with diet, cortisone creams and warm baths doesn't do the trick. In these cases, a minor procedure can be done by a physician to remove the hemorrhoid.

Given the description you've given, it does sound you need to have your physician determine whether you're shoud try medical management or whether you should have the hemorrhoid permanently removed.

I have them and I bottom no problemo. The general advice is not to 'do the dirty' whilst you're having a flare up, then you could get bleeding and a lot of discomfort. Otherwise, you should be good to go.
Obviously, I'd check with a doctor first though.
