pimples in weird places

they appear on my face alot, but for some reason i had one HUGE pimple on my penis. i dont think thats normal.....

LOL dont worry, usually pimples like those ones on your penis are there because the hair isnt growing out properly, this could be because you shave down there and it has trouble growing out, so dont worry

Well, maybe not normal but it's not uncommon.

There are oil glands on the shaft of the penis called sebaceous glands. They produce a thick waxy oil. Occasionally, they can get plugged just like any oil gland. Add a little bacteria and you can get a pimple. These same glands can also form a cyst that contains a small pearl-shaped plug that can be felt under the skin.

Don't worry. It happens sometimes, usually after shaving, for the reasons stated above. It doesn't mean you're unhygienic or anything. Just be sure to keep that area extra clean.

This is totally normal and if this becomes a common occurrence there a number of solutions. i have to deal with infected hair follicles all the time because I have a lot of body hair.
The first is preventative -- switch to an anti bacterial body soap - dial is a good example and there are stronger over the counter versions at pharmacies as well. This will help prevent stopped up pores and ingrown hair follicles from becoming infected.

Mostly leaving it alone and keeping it clean and it clear up by itself.

You can also use the same sort of creams like clearasil that you use on your face else where in order to help prevent it from becoming encapsulated and also help drain it. Warm compresses help.

Finally if you find that it still remains a problem, see a doctor and their can prescribe both prescription strength body wash as well as a topical antibiotic.
