| Posting Anonymously Posts: 34,191 Join Date: Dec 2007 | Okay this is kind of an awkward question, but I started having my period 1 and 1/2 years ago. And I bleed for 4 days then it just stops for like 12 hours to a day and then it comes back for 2 days but it's not as bad. Is this normal? |

Or that you still have the normal three-to-four weeks in between periods, but when you're on your period you have this "pause" in the middle? If it's the former, I would definitely encourage you to see a doctor. If it's the latter, that doesn't sound like anything too alarming. Periods vary a lot from person to person, and can take a couple of years to regularize themselves. |

| Posting Anonymously Posts: 34,191 Join Date: Dec 2007 | I have about the same issue as the OP, except I'm in my mid-20s, and it's been like this only for the past year or so. There are about five weeks between periods in my case. |
