Hi I am gay, but I also have a thing for shemales, which I heard is pretty unusual for a gay guy. Anyone else in the same boat? I find the petite, flat chested ones the most desirable. Not interested in the ones that have fake boobs and are super curvy like a female.

I do like them to have pretty faces like a girl, long hair, wear girls clothing, I just like them petite, and with little or no boobs, and of course I like the big thing between their legs. I jsut find them facinating and very seductive.

I bet that sucks. The Transsexuals I have met seem to want nothing to do with me, because they only want a straight guy, but the paradox is most straight guys don't want them. Here I am ready and willing and I am rejected, and told that I am a fag. Seems really odd. You would think we should all stick together.

If I was further along in my transition and a gay guy wanted to date me, as long as he viewed me as a woman and treated me like one then I wouldn't have a problem with it. If after my surgery he lost interest, it might hurt but I would get over it.

Just to bring this up...

Shemale is a porn term. Please don't use the term to refer to transwomen in general as it is considered very derogatory. You might already know not to do this, but some people don't, so I wanted to make sure you knew.

The thing is, maybe you're just attracted to their "male aspects". Transwomen are women. The ones with fake boobs and curves are usually further along in transition. I'd say you are more just attracted to androgyny or feminine men, but only you really know that.

And no, it's not just a "straight guy thing".

Also, being trans myself, we find plenty of sex partners and loving relationships, so there are people... gay, straight, bisexual, lesbian... that want us. Maybe the transwomen you meet are turned off by the fact that you are a gay guy and they consider themselves straight women, so yes, they'd be looking for a straight guy. Why "stick together"? It'd be like a straight woman hitting on you and being upset that you said no. Transwomen and transmen aren't obligated to sleep with whoever wants them. We have our own sexualities too you know. For some straight transwomen, it's slightly insulting for a gay man to ask them out; for some straight transwomen, it's slightly insulting for a lesbian to ask them out. It tends to say "I don't see you are the gender you are, you'll always be your birth sex to me so you're really just a gay man/lesbian woman".

Not always the case, of course, but sometimes.

I should state that I completely agree with the comment a couple posts ago. Even if I was willing to date a gay guy, if he ever, and I mean EVER referred to me as a shamale or tranny, he'd have a foot to the groin.

Maybe the reason you can't get with girls like us is because you still consider us to be something other than women.

You're not alone. I too consider myself gay and am also very attracted to pre-op transwomen. I like the idea of experiencing all of the physical positives from a women (breasts, curves, feminine butt) while also having that male organ.
I am most attracted to transwomen who have ideal female physical characteristics, as in they look very feminine.

Maybe I am not as gay as I thought I was, idk.

Well, there's also the fact that being 100% gay or straight isn't all that common. Many people are probably able to make exceptions or find someone attractive, even if that isn't their "usual".

Transsexuals and gender-benders of all varieties are stunningly beautiful people, inside and out.

I love how they have the courage to stand up to the world and be themselves, everything which society tells them they can't be. Collectively, they hock a big loogie and spit it right in the face of their adversaries simply by daring not to suppress themselves. It shows such admirable bravery, and confidence, and that oozes pure sex for me. "Sissy" my ass! Transsexuals are the bravest, most confident, and strongest people in the world.

If you're talking pure physicality, I'm also drawn to pre-op transsexuals of all kinds. Such interesting combinations of everything I like in men and women. I like how transwomen have both breasts and a penis. I love how transmen have flat chests and a vagina. Both of them look so attractive as well because I just go batty for androgynous looks.

Frankly, if I ever saw some airhead assaulting such beautiful creatures, I think I'd have to crack 'em over the head and ask 'em just how nuts they were.

Just remember that not all transwomen have breasts and a penis, and not all transmen have flat chest and a vagina. We're not all androgynous, and we come in a variety of sizes, shapes and personality types. I'm glad some of you admire us and would defend us if we were in trouble, but there are lots of transsexual people out there that might not fit your idea of what it means to be transsexual.

Thanks everyone for your responses, and glad that there are other out there like me. Was starting to think I had issues. I guess I do like androgeny- as I like smooth men, and twinky type guys and not into bears, or really masculine guys. Petite Transgirls just drive me wild, and I think ooze sex appeal.

As for what that girl said before, it makes a lot of sense that she would not be interested in a gay guy because she views herself as female.
