Default Ever broken the law?

And not gotten caught. I'm talking about like small things. Like when I was younger my friends and I used to steal candy, soda and makeup from the drug store in our town, drank underage and in public and driven without a license.

Oh look /this/ thread.

Sigh. I've broken into a school, and abandoned buildings to explore. I don't steal things.

I also drive alone without my G2 often.

My cannabis consumption should not be against the law, but is. Thank you, legal system, for treating harmless stoners like hardened criminals.

The only thing that bothers me about 'stoners' is the ones who do it in public, or brag, or make it really known.

Same with smoking. It's annoying.

My crime would be piracy. At home I have a lot of DVDs that were recorded and sold illegally. I also watch recorded TV online on illegal websites. Other than that, I haven't broken the law.

I have downloaded music and licensed anime illegally, but then again, most people I know have done that, so it's nothing new. XD

Does piracy count? Or is something not really illegal if it's never enforced?

Other than that, and maybe some speeding, I've pretty much been a good boy.

Had the right people been watching at the right time, or charges filed, I could've been busted for:

Illegal downloading.
Speeding.
Petty theft.
Breaking and entering.
Public indecency.
Disturbing the peace.
Assault.

I've only been busted for speeding. I was contacted by the police for the assault. Full story? OK.

I was driving around the city looking for work, and was stopped at a red light. Just before the light changed, the car next to me started shooting at me with squirt guns. (My windows were open, and they got my nice shirt wet.) They then took off. I got pissed, sped up, and cut them off. Then I got out of my car, marched back to theirs, and started yelling at them. (I wasn't in a good mood.) The car was full of seventeen-year-old girls, and they were all denying having done anything...despite me being able to see the squirt guns on the floor. Suddenly, it struck me how stupid this all was. I said "Maybe someday you'll all grow up" and patted the driver condescendingly on the head. Then got back into my car and drove away.

Patting the driver on the head was my big mistake - that was technically assault. The police called me at home and interviewed me for about twenty or thirty minutes. I told him what had happened, and said "My touching her wasn't meant to be assault - it was meant to be condescending. I'll issue a formal apology if they'd like one. Other than that, I guess you'll have to do what you have to do." Luckily, the teenaged girls accepted the apology and withdrew their complaint.

-Marijuana
-Underage drinking (I'm 21 now though)
-Littering (Which I'm actually "pretty" good about. Mostly cigarette butts. I do make an effort not litter most of the time though. Who has honestly never littered though)
-Speeding
-I was going to say that I have never stolen anything, but I think that's debatable. The occasion that comes to mind is my singlet and warm ups from my two years of wrestling. I never returned them when I quit wrestling. I feel somewhat guilty about it, but I felt kind of too embarrassed to go back and talk to the coaches or members of the team after a really embarrassing incident that made me quit. I don't know if something like this counts as thievery. Aside from this the only things I can think of are like pocketing pens, pencils, and lighters (usually accidently)
-Driving without my physical license on me, just because I forget my wallet a lot.
-Public Indecency (pulled over on the side of the road to pee while on a CHURCH SERVICE TRIP. The decision was of the leader in charge of our car to just pull over instead of going to gas station. We got pulled over and I was threatened to be charged, but they didn't really do anything besides bitch us out. Ironically, the deputy complaining at us said, and I quote, "Iowa, what is that? Some kind of hick town? You go around peeing on stuff all over the place in Iowa? Well we don't do that here." This was in Missouri, one of Iowa's border states.

I'm sure there's a lot more. Everyone has broken some laws whether they know it or not. Which is really what's messed up about our legal system. Laws that everyone breaks, really don't serve much of a purpose.

I'm fairly paranoid when it comes to breaking the law. I usually go only about 5 miles per hour over the speed limit if it's local. Cops freak me out!

I have broken the law though.. We probably all have like you said.
1. I have gone over the speed limit.
2. I bought an under-aged friend cigarettes 2 times.
3. I bought an under-aged friend alcohol once.
4. I tried a cigarette when I was 15.
5. I tried alcohol before I was 21.
6. Driving without my license.
7. My sister and I stole some stuff from an abandoned house to give my mom a mother's day present when I was 10. We didn't realize it was stealing
8. I accidentally stole an ice pack from Wal-Mart. I felt bad about it for a long time.
9. U-Turns
10. Does watching shows on Megavideo count? I don't download music or tv shows but I have seen them on those sorts of websites. I'm scared if I download illegally someone will catch me lol plus I feel bad about illegally downloading.
11. Assault---- I punched my sister.

I felt terrible after 2, 3, 4, and 8.

- underage drinking
- evading arrest (related to unlawful assembly)

Chillin at the park after closing smoking a joint and listening to *pirated music. I probably jaywalked at some point to get there. Such a rebel :P

*For the record, most of the tunes I own were obtained legally and never used for profit.

Started smoking underage. I'm headin' to a party tonight that'll probably involve drinking. Underage sexual activity before I was 16. Also, oral sex is technically illegal in my state, though it's never enforced, so I break that law a lot. Piracy, though I've limited it to music now. I used to download fansubs, but that's damaging the Anime industry so much that I refuse.

I used to be a huge stoner, but I just don't enjoy smoking weed anymore so I stopped that a while ago.

I speed everyday on my way to college.

-Drinking underage
-Buying alcohol for minors
-Buying cigarettes for minors
-Marijuana use
-Reckless driving (here driving at least 25 mph over the limit counts as "reckless," I've maxed at about 60 mph over )(also street racing)

Only been caught for speeding twice, and those were fortunately only 10 and 22 mph over... I still dont drive like that anymore.

My biggest crime was accidentally putting flyers into three mailboxes then retrieving them when I realized I broke the law.... Imma rebel....

Next is speeding. A lot but never over 10 miles per hour on the high way.

-Speeding, of course, but amazingly never had a speeding ticket
-Marijuana use, which should be as legal as alcohol
-Turning left on a red arrow, I hate those when you can see for blocks
-Drinking underage
-Drunk driving, I know, it's bad
-Buying alcohol for underage college roommates
-Stole a few small things as a kid
-Public urination all over campus
-Noise violation for college house party

Ahhh, good times

- illegal downloading
- breaking into high rise apartment buildings in NYC
- vandalizing hotel buildings in NYC
- writing 'kick ass' on the roof of one of said buildings
- shooting people with beer squirt guns
- stealing a glass from one hotel then drinking in it at another
- drunk driving
- speeding over the speed limit
- weaving in and out of traffic, one count

That's all I can remember for now lol. And most of those were all in ONE night. My buddy and I really destroyed NYC rooftops as the last big hurrah before leaving - that was bad ass! Sue me, I'm still young - life's about having fun.
