Not sure how I feel

So I never really used to think I was gay, but then I met this one girl and now I'm just not sure what I am. I'm almost positive that she is a lesbian. She always complements me and makes me feel like I am a real person, but most of our interaction is over text and we only actually see each other once or twice a month. My issue is I don't know if it is really that I like her or if it is the fact that the majority of our relationship-type-thing has been developed not in person. I guess what I am trying to sort of ask is if it is possible that I am not gay and the whole digital age and such has just made the line sort of blurred because basically the entire realationship is just on personality... Does anyone have any idea what I am saying?...

Sort of.

The only thing that I can tell you is that the new technology that we have hasn't made it easier for people to "become" gay or anything. The only thing that we have clear so far is that you cannot change your sexual orientation from either straight to gay or gay to straight.

That being said, its hard to tell whether you are really gay based on your particular situation since there is a lot of things that can be going on, though. Two things might be going on, but keep in mind that I'm guessing over here and you are the only one that can truly know for sure. One, you could be in fact gay and starting to discover your attraction for women. Two, you might be liking more the attention that she is giving you rather than liking her as a person.

Its hard to say based on just the information that you gave us, but if you really think about it you should be able to come up with the answer. Do you really like her? Do you see yourself kissing or being in a relationship with this girl? How do you feel about other girls?

As the poster above said it is hard to tell, but its a good idea to try and imagine yourself with this girl, and also look at other girls and see what you think.

Its also good to try not to stress, if you enjoy spending time with her, then continue to do so and see how it progresses as long as you dont lie to her or lead her on in a way which would be wrong then go for it.

Yeah, I get it. Me and my best friend almost lost our friendship due to this whole digital age thing. My advice is this: Go hang out with her. Get coffe, ice cream, frozen yogurt.... something. and just talk. If y'all click, then it's workin. if not... then idk. Does that help?
