Default Glasses...awkward question

After reading the glasses thread, I got the weirdest question.

When kissing someone, if you have glasses, does it bump into the other persons face? If so, hard enough to hurt? And if you are the person kissing with the glasses pushed into their face, does it bother you? What if you both have glasses, do they bump/clash?

Now, for the more awkward/weird question.
During sex (lets act like adults here), assuming you don't have a fetish with glasses do glasses bother you? Do they get fogged up (if you're sweaty) or dirty or something?
Do you take it off before the act, or just whenever?

I know this sounds like a stupid question, but I actually really want to know.

Oh, and please don't go 'let's kiss and find out, shall we'.

Thank-you so much!

No, it's not a stupid question. They can clash, indeed. But the only time that happened to me, well... we both were wearing them. So we tried again, him without them and me with my contacts on.

And yes, I've had sex with glasses on. They usually don't get fogged up unless the one wearing them sweats a lot. What can happen is that, well, they sometimes end up pressed against your partner's skin and skin is always a little greasy (it's like when you touch them).

Since I have my contacts I just wear them, but I didn't usually take my glasses off during sex before I had the contacts.

As the other poster indicated, the best thing to do is to take your glasses off. Sometimes it is easy to forget... been there, done that. It becomes one of those cute little moments, especially if both of you are wearing glasses and the lenses touch about the same time you are kissing. It usually ends with a chuckle, a small mention of the glasses and a fumbling attempt to get them to the safety of a nightstand.

Oh and unless they are coming at you from a running start, I don't think it would hurt too much. You'll know they are there though.

Hehe. My boyfriend and i have this problem. Neither one of us thinks its awkward. Just funny. We usually take them off when we make out and definately when we make love. We just prefer not to mess with them. It doesn't hurt when they hit your face...but it is funny if they get stuck together. I don't know about them fogging up. We always have ours off.

Both my boyfriend and I wear glasses. When we kiss a standard kiss, there's not much problem. You tend to jut your chin forward a bit when you kiss, and turn your head somewhat. (We both tilt it to the right.) This keeps your foreheads from banging into each other, and your noses from smashing against each other. At that spot, the glasses don't cause much problem. If you bring our hands up to hold faces and caress, then yeah, they can get in the way, but we can always just take them off then.

And yeah, when we're going to have sex, the glasses come off with the clothes.

Same here. A simply 'hello' or 'goodbye' kiss doesn't require the removal of glasses. 'Making out' usually does involve removing the eye-wear. In fact, we use it as a clue that we're interested in perhaps having a prolonged session when the glasses come off.

And for sex - yes - we both remove our glasses. I'm not that blind that I can't find my way around!

When my boyfriend and I kissed, we usually just tilted our heads. Like how Lex said.

As for a make-out session, I'd imagine they'd have to come off (I never made out with any of my boyfriends), if you're both wearing them, but if one is I guess it wouldn't be too much of a problem.

As for sex, I can't answer that, I'm a virgin...And in no hurry to change that status.

Same as Lex-

Brief kiss is fine with glasses.

Major snogging requires the glasses to come off.

Glasses are too difficult to keep on during sex- that's what bedside tables are for.

haha, I feel it would be better to remove them for making love, but for kissing I dont see a problem.

Though for me, I would rather keep them on for both cause without them, I can't see shit!

Until you step on them!

Believe it or not, bedside tables cost about the same as a pair of glasses- sometimes even less!

I have never worn glasses, but was with someone who did.

Kissed with glasses on, not a big deal because they weren't super-huge.

Had sex with glasses off, they would have fallen off anyway, and probably gotten crushed... the glasses were for things far away, so they weren't necessary for someone only inches from you!

To be honest, I am really not a fan of glasses though, I preferred my partner to wear contacts where possible, because he had amazing eyes and I liked seeing his face, and with the glasses both were obscured. Just a personal preference though. I also hated his taste in glasses, perhaps if they were more my style I would have been more into them!

Kissing was never much trouble with the head tilt technique. We did take the glasses off for sex. It's more fun by braille anyway! Sometimes we used a blindfold. It makes the other senses much more intense when you can't see.

My very first kiss me and my gf wore giant 3D glasses, it was awkward, but it was still kissing. I mean, it didnt ruin the moment it was just annoying. We took them off and kissed normally after.
