Have you seen it? Did you like it? Know what I'm even talking about?
I rented Friends With Money today, and I must say it was way different than I thought it would be, but pleasantly.
Maybe it was my mood at the time, but I loved it. Movies like this normally piss me off, but I liked how real and comfortable it was; without being creepy.
My mom hated that there was no real ending, and I loved that part. It technically had an ending, as far as being a proper story goes, but it wasn't one neat little package. It was life, in 88 minutes.
The characters were all real enough, and so depressingly happy with their unsatisfying lives, it just made me laugh. I found 'feel good' in this movie when I was least expecting it.
If you want a peek at shrouded content resolve in the mundane aspects of life, I suggest this movie.
Any comments if you've seen it?
