Beautifly and Mothim (bottom left and right, respectively) are from 3rd and 4th generation, respectively =P

EDIT: Beautifly has a moth counterpart, which can come from Wurmple (what Beautifly comes from), based on a hidden value you can't figure out until it evolves :S

O.O. Ok, Jessie caught dustox back when they entered Hoenn (the third area). She caught it as a wurmple, and it evolved with her, and they formed a bond. Dustox fell in love, but didn't want to leave Jessie. Jessie tried to convince dustox not to make the same mistake she did (jessie lost her love, who was the other dustox's owner). When Dustox still refused to leave, Jessie took out it's pokeball, and tossed it on the ground. Everyone was surprised by this. Dustox was crying, but Jessie knew it was for the best, and shattered the pokeball. If a pokemon's ball is shattered, they may not return to the ball, and are instantly released into the wild. As jessie will not recapture dustox to protect it from losing it's love, Dustox had no choice by to fly off with it's love, leaving Jessie heartbroken, and Dustox sad it's leaving it's best friend :(

Thats why you save like right before the legendary battles, then catch them. If they faint then turn off your game and try again :lol:

Thats what I always did. I remember Moltres was in some random place in Victory Road. He was not easy to find, i kinda ran into him because i took a wrong turn somewhere and was like "whaaa?" :lol:

When I was a kid, I had a notebook with the 100 or so original pokémon I made up.

And I can't remember their names. ;_;

But I do remember Twistari > Tornadon > Hurricania. They were ghost/flying.
And... Leafully! That was the grass starting pokémon. It was my favorite, it resembled a cat. And it evolved into a grass/psychic BADASS.
And there was Snowbell > Aurorabell...
Fossil pokémon Shellee > Shellos or Shellium > Shellark.
And... OH! And there was an electric/steel pokémon family that resembled nails and screws...
Umm... I remember Embear and Flammabear were the fire 'starter' pokémon.
And! There was a flying pokémon that didn't have legs, but instead two sets of wings. I liked that one.

I even made the town and all the cities on Microsoft Paint. There were eight gym leaders, all the things you could use HMs on.

My older brother and I had Red, Yellow, Blue, Silver, and Gold. I decided to buy Sapphire and I got to the last gym but I had the worst Pokemon ever and I could never beat it so I just quit. I don't remember more than like 10 names of the Pokemon over #251. Haha.

Haha, my favorite is Bulbasaur. Back in Yellow version, I used to abuse my pokemon and I only kept bulbasaur, charmander, and squirtle on my team because Ash had them in the animated series. WELL, Pikachu was my power hungry monster house and she kicked ass UNTILL the 8th gym badge. I'd never lost before and I was getting depserate and Pikachu died! I was on my last pokemon so I sent out dumb bulbasaur. I was fighting dugtrio and the level 7 pokemon FELLED IT, OMG. I was psyched. I fell in love with it because even after I neglected it, it still had the will to fight for me-and damn well too. I am now obsessed with it... HOORAY FOR POKEMON STORIES.. seriously, pokemon.. <3

Anyway, my favourite Pokemon would have to be 1. Scizor 2. Piplup (They are just sooo adorable :P) 3. Leafeon and 4. Tyranitar (cause they is soo awesome!)

Do a lot of you guys still play these days? I actually haven't played in a little while (school and work and such) but I have Diamond and Pearl that I will pick up again eventually.

I ended up beatin the elite 4 in Pearl with

Empoleon, Chatot, Pachirisu, Roserade, and Rapidash.

Pachirisu did most of the work, much to my surprised :3
