Use the URL, not the code
So for Katy Pery you use the URL
"http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zluCpm93vfg&feature=related"
closed within the tags
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zluCpm93vfg&feature=related

Sometimes there is an off character such as a '_' or '-' at the beginning or end of the code. This is part of the code and needs to be included too. It's easy to miss them when copying and pasting, then the video won't work here.
Also some videos have embedding disabled on YouTube. This is often official promo stuff put up by record or film companies etc. They won't work here or anywhere else that embeds them. You;ll probably find another copy on YouTube without that restriction though.
