View Full Version : Came out to entire conference!

Ok, i went to a week-long academy up in Redding, CA for a latino leadership thing, and well, on the 26th, my group was assigned to do the personal sharing, whihc meant each student had to share something personal about themselves. You guys can already imagine what I chose to present-thatīs right, my coming out story. It was scary to do, casue i was sleeping with guys in the dorm, so i was scared of that night, going back when all the guys knew. However, it was awesome because as the day progressed, people kept coming left and right to hug me and congratulate me and complment me on my guts and bravery, even the guys did too. It was awesome! Especially right after my presentation, where the staff came up to me and hugged me and all that. It was one expereince Iīll never forget.

Wow, that sounds awesome! And Wow, Redding isn't far from where I live XD, A few family friends live there and come out to do things a lot o.o;

Wow, that's fantastic! That must have taken a lot of courage, I'm so glad it worked out so well :D
