I went last night and saw "Journey to the Center of the Earth".
How was it? It looked like a cheesy one-liner.. but hopeful.
I saw 'The Dark Knight' and before that 'Hancock' and next? 'Quantum of Solace' I can't wait for that one!!!!

Goodness, I'm lame. The last time I went to the movies was on a trip to Chicago two months ago. I saw Speed Racer in IMAX. Other than that, I've only seen Mulan and Scary Movie 4 in theaters. That's... kind of pathetic. I should go see The Dark Knight or something.

Hancock - We have this one screen movie theater here in my little town. It was originally built in 1938. It was my hangout growing up. My husband and I went on our first date there. We saw Raiders of the Lost Ark. Anyway, it was closed since the early 80's and sat empty. Some people bought it and restored it and they have been doing pretty good business. However, we get a good laugh everytime we go there. The same guy sells the tickets and the popcorn. After he's done there, he runs inside the theater and up the stairs to start the movie. :roflmao:

Stepbrothers. It was terrible. We went to the theatres in the hopes of seeing pineapple express, but it wasn't out yet, so we decided not to waste a trip and saw stepbrothers. Bad move.
Although, I saw The Dark Knight before that, and I absolutely recommend that anyone who has not yet done so go and see it. It is brilliant.

The Dark Knight.
It was completely packed, student night and tickets are half price. Ugh, the heat in the cinema. and we were there about an hour before it started just to get seats together. Grr.
But the film was good!

The last film I saw was Mama Mia!, and before that... Mama Mia!.
I saw it the first time with my sister and mother, and I thought it was only ok, but then I realized that my problems was incorrect expectations. My mother and a friend of her's later went to see it, so I went with them, just to get out of the house, and I enjoyed it just as much the first time as I did the second time.

Okay, so I'm sad. The last movie I saw was Indiana Jones, and even though I'm totally a child of the 80's/Lucas/Spielberg, I thought it was disappointing. Kinda unnecessary.
I just heard that both Harry Potter 6 and the new JJ Abrams Star Trek have been pushed back to summer '09!!! Wauughhhh!!! :tears::tears:

ALOT Funnier then I thought it would be. I couldn't stop laughing at some parts (plus there is alot of quite tasteful gay humor)

The Dark Knight.
I loved it, might have something to do with the fact that I wanted to be Batman when I grew up...
But on a more serious note, great acting! I was impressed.

Just been to see the Dark Knight.
Oh hell.
Heath Ledger did the whole "crazy villain" thing STUPENDOUSLY well. It was very disturbing. In a good way.
Brilliant film :D

Kung Fu Panda, a few months back. I hardly ever go to the movies, I've been three times this year and that's probably equal to the number of times I'd been in the three years before that.

Just got back from seeing The Dark Knight for the second time. I usually dont see movies twice, but there was a deal at uni to see it for $5, so I got a group of mates to see it together again.
I loved it so much, that I figured it warranted a second viewing anyway. I love the way they did Two Face's scarred face, and Heath Ledger (as everyone has said) is incredible in it, and I would not be surprised if he won an Oscar post-humously for it (and I think he deserves it)

Mamma Mia - I loved it! I followed three old ladies out. Here is their conversation:
1st lady: Oh that was such a good movie!
2nd lady: They looked like they had such a ball making it!
3rd lady: That was such good music! I loved it!
1st lady: We're going to have to tell Ethel she missed something GOOD!
