Dear contributors and readers,
I just got an interview with a well-known figure of the Uruguayan LGBT community, Collette Richard. You can check out her Fotolog at www.fotolog.com/collette_richard.
She's a transgender public representative for Uruguay's leading LGBT-themed night club in Montevideo, "Alexander", who lived the darker ages for LGBT people (1970s-80s, while the country was ruled by the military), and experienced even more hate than other LGBTs due to being transgendered.
The thing is, I need help with the questions for the interview. I already have some ideas, but I'd like to have as many questions as possible, so that we can pack FS4 (which will be released in Spanish as well) with two big interviews, the one with WBC and this one.
I plan to add photos as well, I'll request help from a friend for them. Please hurry up because I plan to get this within a week. So, ask, please! :)

Hmmmmm how about ask her about how views on LGBTs has changed, and what steps are being taken to further stop the hate, and what she thinks should be done, and such. Idk just thinking randomly...

Well I would ask her typical questions about how she felt growing up. I would ask her about the glbt climate in Uruguay compared to other countries. Ask her how people have reacted to her. If she's ever been threatened or if people have treated her well. What does she do for a living? It might help to read some other interviews with transgender people. That could give you some ideas on what to ask.

The one thing I can come up with, and Becky already said it, is to ask her how the Uruguayan LGBT community differs from other countries. Now, from what I've heard from you Fred, is that the community over there is rather small, so a good follow-up question could be something like, what steps are members within the community taking to increase the nation's tolerance for LGBT Uruguayans.
Since this is in a part of the world that doesn't see much in the way of global LGBT news coverage, focusing on painting a good picture of what things are like over there, the hardships that community proponents have to overcome, and maybe even short and longterm goals of your LGBT community, would be my suggestion ^^
And, of course, don't forget to plug the mag!
