He had technically won at that point, this was just the formal nomination.

Booo! It should have been Hillary. She was the one to save us all.

Oh well. It's a lose lose situation for me regardless of who wins. Oh well.

When Hillary conceded the nomination to Obama back in June, he was the presumptive nominee -- meaning it's presumed he would be the nominee. The Democrats and Republicans both have national conventions where they go through a big process with state delegates. Obama is now the nominee. John McCain ins the presumptive nominee for the Republicans but will become the nominee next week at the Republican National Convention.

Funny that you mentioned it! I just saw it last night! She did convince me to support Obama (although I can't vote b.c I'm not a citizen)

I watched her speech. And at the beginning when she was saying that "Im a proud ____" she should added liar to the list.
You know she can't mean EVERYTHING that she says, only a month and a half or so after losing the nomination.

It's all just hype.

As a big Hillary supporter that you were, I would think you would follow what she said and bring unity to the Democratic Party. I was bitter for a while, but there's no need to be bitter. And if you were a true Hillary supporter you would follow her quote of "No wat, no how, no McCain"...

Well, as any politician can or cannot, of course one must take each word with a grain of salt. Politicians require a citizens vote for their job and will do just about anything to get that job. This can be said of any politician.

All politicians lie. Get over it.
