so people always tell me that i chose to be gay, and i tell them the only coice i made waz coming out!!!

although im very proud of who i am, i used to think life woud be so much better if i was straight.

so heres my question kuz im curious to know: if you had a choice on being gay or straight what would you pick???

That. I won't go too far into it, but because of the things I've experienced due to my sexuality, I feel like a much more perceptive and intelligent person. It's been tougher, but much more interesting. I'm already bored most of the time, I don't what I would do if I were straight. I'm fine the way I am.

If I'd been asked this a few years ago, I'd have said straight. Now I'd say I'd stick with being gay. I've met some wonderful people (through EC and other sites) I'd probably never have met otherwise, and I've spent so much time thinking about sexuality that I think I've turned out a lot wiser than I would be otherwise.

I wouldn't have the friends I have now if I wasn't gay. They (girls) felt comfortable around me the first time of meeting me, and I'm pretty sure it's because they know I flirt with them without it going more than just flirting.

If I was straight, then I would've had different friends, and I really don't want that. I love my current friends and family more than anything else. And I want to keep it that way.

The only perks of being straight are, in my opinion, I wouldn't have to worry about the coming out process and it wouldn't be hard to find someone to be in a relationship (you'd normally just go straight to the "does she like me or not?" Gays have to go and find out if he's gay or not (and it's SO incredibly hard) to "does he like me or not?"

It's taken me a long time but I wouldn't change who I am for anything. I love being gay and everything that comes with it. When I was younger I might have changed myself, but only to fit in more. Now-a-days, I don't care what other people think. If you don't like me or who I am then go away lol.
