Can we please not let google go through the threads and index them? My screen name isn't only used on this forum, and when you google it multiple EC things pop up. Thanks.

The thing is that we also want people to actually find EC - and many do that by google. Of course we could ban google just from the threads, but that would mean EC diminishing a lot in the search results.
The best would be that you change your screenname - the next time googlebot visits EC, your old one will be gone from google-cache.

Your ID is easy enough to change, just let Paul know what you would like to change it to.

^ *cough*cough* if you mention the old screen name that you didn't want google to pick up again .. it will pick it up again ;)

My name is pretty general so it's kinda hidden... however EC is the only site I use this sn on anyways.. so nvm :D

TIP: Make it something general :]

Well yeah but you DO make up stuff about me in the forums. :p

OK, TriBi and Martin are Super Moderators and can handle your request also! Better Martin?

The whole point is that my username is written in threads... I can change my sn anytime.

And people will find EC if they search for coming out help... they don't need to find it by searching usernames.
