Delete account?

How come users have an option of deleting their account here? Wouldn't that disturb the flow of conversation?

No, it just shows the username that it was and puts guest under it.(It does keep the posts that they made in the threads they posted in)

Oh ok. I asked a net friend who's a member here and he said the option is for people who are worried about parents searching the username or something, neat. Thanks anyways, Dan. :)

Well, they can have the username changed for privacy, as opposed to deleting it.

Yep, just get him/her post in Ask The Staff and Martin, TriBi or I will change it for him/her. It should be done within a few hours, depending on when one of us is next here.

If they self-delete their account the name is still shown by their posts as "guest". Changing the name changes that so it's better than self-deleting the account if privacy is the concern.
