We need content

People here have expressed a moderate interest in the magazine project. Some of them (actually a relatively big number) have chosen to join the project and collaborate with the design and edition of ecwebzine, among other things. However, we have a not-so-small problem.

We barely have contents for the magazine.

So far, I am writing an article for the technology section - a comprehensive comparison between Microsoft Windows and Linux. I plan to write an article about Uruguay as well. But that's not enough. We need more.

I was thinking about something GLBT-related, whatever. ecwebzine is, after all, a GLBT magazine. Of course, I'd like to publish varied content on the magazine, such as articles about art, films, music, sports... anything you can imagine, as long as it's adequate for our younger readers.

Don't be afraid of submitting content. There is a lot of space. A web magazine is not limited by printing costs. It can have an unlimited number of pages.

I'm kind of at a loss for what to write...but I do have the time to write it! Finally ^^

Short stories are my specialty, as you already know, but I'm not certain what kinds of articles you're looking to include.

Oh fred, writting an article about ur own country is cool. Because we have so may countries around the world on EC, we should do it together. I was thinking doing it on my blog, but I just started off half of it then deleted it

Otherwise, I think we need a fun section: like fun pix, fun stories, quotes, whatever, poems? Song lyrics? like Resoner said, or comics

Technology is cool

Um, some facts, about our lifes, about gay life, about thing that happened to any type of people, about our world.

This needs to be suitable to both adult and teenagers, any age. i think my blog is leaning toward teen too much

hmmm this is an interesting one. I guess we also have the difference between jub being a fairly massive forum whereas we're more like an extended family on this one. A nice little community where many of us know of the others.

As far as what i'd like from such a publication if we could get one started:

Some news from around the world which pertains to GLBT affairs (as we already have members posting)

Some coming out stories would be good

Some snippits from some recent discussions... the bests bits of EC for the previous month.

Although we are limited in what could be included.

Yeah, something fun ^^ maybe at the end of each issue. Puzzles! Some kind of logic puzzle maybe? Or a quiz question? And every issue will have the answer to last issue's question as well as that issue's new question ^^

Jokes, too ^^ that might be good. Comics? Is there anyone here who can write comics?
