lol it was today! I sprained my neck!! I was tanning outside, reading a book, when suddenly a bee buzzed in my ear and i made a head movement to avoid the bee (which was rly funny) and i sprained my neck! retard i am.

My last injury was a cut to my thumb requiring three stitches.

Before that, I suffered from a Level 3 concussion (severe head trauma with at least 15 minutes of memory loss) from a crash on my mountain bike. Luckily, I was wearing a helmet, or the crash would have killed me... Don't ask what happened, though, since that's part of the memory that's gone forever.

I pulled a muscle in my chest helping my brother move, and it took a bit over a month to heal. It was really painful ; ; and I was having difficulty breathing. For a while, I was so scared that it was something more serious...and my ER visit was...a bit traumatic, heh. There's a picture in my gallery.

saturday i cut my hand on a broken glass at work i am a bartender at a club out of the corner of my eye i saw a customer reach out to hand me a glass i just took it from him with out looking it was broken ended up with 5 stitches

The last significant one was trapping the end of my finger in a machine about 8 months ago at my previous job. It was pinched just below the nail. That took a while to heal and I lost part of my nail, though it grew back again OK.

Like 4 months ago, when I got out from my sister's car, I closed the door and didnt notice , and my index finger trapped but I pulled out quickly, and it was bleeding that whole day, and then after a few week, my nail was green + all kinds of colors, and fell off. Now I just got a new nail, but wierd looking shape, lol

I couldn't take off my own heels, and the tight little square hole on the top of my foot was letting blood bubble through the nylons...

Several years ago Markie was trying to separate two frozen burgers with a kitchen knife. He did it exactly as you shouldn't - burgers in his hand and pushing the knife into them. I'm sure you can guess what happened.....

I had to rush him to A&E to have stitches in BOTH SIDES of his hand. :eek:

Neither can I. I, having no interest in sports or physical activity, have managed to dodge serious injury for my entire life. The last truly painful thing I can remember happening to me was back in elementary school - I dropped a pencil on the floor and shot my hand down to grab it while it was still falling. I managed to hit the point with my hand right when the eraser end hit the floor, so I managed to accidentally stab my hand with a sharp pencil tip.

I have actually dislocated my knee.

I was...changing...my pants...that's right...changing my pants... I'm not sure exactly, but I took off my jeans, i put one leg up in the air, so i could slip one pant leg up it...and I fell...Idk how it got dislocated, I didn't fall against anything...well I hit my head on my dresser, but idk how that works lol. I ended up in a knee-imobilizer for all of second semester my freshman year...crutches and all...went to the hospital in my boxers! but the x-ray lady was funny and told me "wow, your the most interesting case ive had all day!"

I had to shower with a chair...it's not fun...

probably a few months ago when i was doing Laser Tag (game where you put a vest on and run around shooting each other with laser guns)
anyway, i was running which is a big no no but :D who doesn't run???
i ran backwards into a box on the wall and split my shoulder open, didn't notice at the time so i kept playing
got home and realized that my shirt was stuck to me, because part of it was inside me
all good now, but i got a nice purple scar on my shoulder blade

hmm. I sprained my left elbow playing tag when i was supposed to be playing tennis. I had to get a sling for a week. And before that, i broke my right elbow falling down a flight of stairs at school. xD the school covered the stairs with a layer of some sorts to prevent other ppl from falling.

I was bike riding, handle bars did something really bad, I went over, my thumb got caught between the handlebar and brake and ripped back. I fractured it and tore the ligaments off and still, I was writing with it during exam week, geez.

One time last May while I was boxing I got hit in the face from not covering myself properly.. I went down and all I knew is that I was bleeding and I couldn't see.... It turned out that I had an orbital blowout fracture (which means I broke the bone under the eye). I ended up having to have surgery but they fited it and it's all good now.. well I don't have 20/20 vision in that eye but I can still see.. so thats good.. Boxing is a tough sport.. but I love it :P

A bruise across my face from where my sister slapped me today.

I have a huge bruise on my leg and I don't have a clue how I got it. I'm always doing myself minor injuries, but I haven't badly hurt myself for a couple of years - I was playing softball, someone threw me the ball incredibly hard when I wasn't really paying attention, and it slammed into my ungloved hand. Bent my ring finger back far enough to completely screw up all the ligaments. It wtook months to heal, but weirdly, the bones didn't actually break.

I parked my car too close to the corner of my house, tried to extricate myself from the car without scratching the door and ended up cracking my knee bone... you know the knobbly painfull part, on the corner of the wall!!! ouch, ouch OUCH was all I could say through gritted teeth as my 10 year old son said 'are you alright mummy?'

Oh yeah, I fell down the stairs the other night at 3 o'clock in the morning as I needed the loo and my daughter's cat thought that it would be funny to sit on the stairs in the dark to trip up unwary, tired people desperate for a pee. Nothing broken just bumps and bruises and a few oaths uttered about the ****ing cat.

I could go on for ever... I do DIY so the list is endless...

My hand holding a block of wood that I can't be bothered to hold with a clamp until the saw slips and saws off half my hand... well slight exageration but it did bleed a lot!

I dislocated my shoulder when fiddling with the electrics which of course I hadn't turned off and got a nasty shock which knocked me off the step ladder which was perched on uneven ground.

All these injuries are entirely my own stupid fault and are a great source of merriment to my family and friends as I recount the latest exploits in my DIY sagas around the dinner table.

Major: Tore ligaments in my ankle. This was almost a year ago. Lol. But I remember it perfectly. I fell down my friends stairs and tried to catch myself and landed on my foot the wrong way. It was terrible. x_x

hm.... last minor - today at work - cleaning the coffee machine and sliced my hand :( not too bad really.. but still bleeding a little.

last major.. ankle, crapped up all the ligaments and its still not quite right.. before that is was a face versus concrete astro playing hockey.. huge swelling and I kid you not but it was still swollen a year after.. disslocated a few bones in my cheek, concusion and one hell of a black eye/black face.. good times!!!

Major? Way back in second grade or something, I half-sleep-walked in front of a swingset and got kicked in the side.

Minor? I have no clue, some little knee bump or something, I'm pretty cautious about that sort of thing.

Never had a broken bone before.
