YAYAYAYA! In a vote of 187 to 147, Spain has now become the 3rd country to officially approve gay marriage!

Canada will be fourth! The Bill has cleared the Commons, and should be approved by the Senate shortly. All that remains after that is Royal Assent! (!)

The law was approved today, coinciding with Gay Pride events and the local gay-neighbourhood party (here in Madrid). I attended yesterday and it was a blast. (although I'm still not too fond of this Pride events, but it really made me happy to be there with the support of all my friends!)
