Thanks for the welcome. As you know, *** is divided into many sections. Yes, because of the porn, it is classified as an adult site, but there are many sections that are just for interacting with other gay men. I've made many friends and actually met several in person. Hopefully, I'll be able to contribute something here.

Yeah, I'm sure it is great community for famous members like you but for people who is not popular like me doesn't fit there. I can't deny but I felt left out.

I know there are a lot of nice people on *** just like we have here but to become friend with them or just remembered by them is either you are hot or funny. And you have to have a crazy number of posts to become famous so everyone will remember you.

I'm not saying there are no decent people there but I'm saying it is very hard to make friend or find decent people because community is too big!!

Look at me - I'm not very well known on EC, even though I'm nearing 1,000 posts there. I haven't visited the site in ages... I'm too addicted to the non-pornographic EC. Yes, *** is kinda nice sometimes, but it's too XXX for my taste. And yeah... you have to be really hot, really funny or have really lots of posts (and I'm talking about 10,000 plus) to be noticed by others...

*** is definitely a much larger site, and I can see how some seem lost or not noticed. I'm not hot or that funny. I think the key to 'being noticed', which is not really a concern to me, is to be active. I've learned that most message boards probably have more 'lurkers' than members who participate. Aside from getting to know a number of great people (which I would like to do here), the more one participates, the more satisfaction and enjoyment will follow.
