as i have been through my local high street and going in to local shops. i have started to stand and read all the gay mags that are available but i think that there are no real gay mags that focus on gay teens and issues with gay teens, i think that is the same with websites as well. has anyone ou there found a magazine that is focus at a gay teen?

Well, this e-magazine will definitely be focused on LGBT of all ages. For the rest of your question (although not really relevant to this forum), I have never read it, but I know http://www.xy.com/ is a magazine focused on gay youth. Again, I have no knowledge what-so-ever about it, besides that it's focused on gay youth. And, like I said, this magazine will span across all ages.

There's a gay magazine for the north east, that's free in most of the local clubs. But then, at sixteen, you wouldn't be able to get in. And you'd need to get over to Newcastle, Sunderland or M'bro, since I'm not sure they mail it.

I'm talking about Out North East, actually. I didn't realise Mesmac had a magazine, I've never been to a meeting, or anything. All I really know is that you can get free condoms at the local gay pubs because they drop them off.
Thing I don't really like about Mesmac is that it seems like you have to have a reason to go, y'know? It seems to work on the premise of solving your gay issues, rather than just providing a place for gay youth to hang out knowing that everyone else there is gay too. I personally just want to know a load of gay guys to chat to.
Personally, if I could I'd start a gay youth club. Pool tables, and other such things, a little bar, a little shop, a communal room with sofas and TVs, stuff like that. Y'know? That'd just be so awesome.

well who knows you could be the next Richard Branson... take that one to the Dragons Den!!!
Seriously though, yeah I've never been to their meetings either and haven't actually seen the mesmacmag... just came across it on the site. As for the Out North East mag... would quite like to get hold of a copy of that. Does it make good reading?

It's pretty good. It's quite varied, going into things like books and travel. But in doing that, it loses a lot of depth, so it nothing really gets more than a page or two. If you can get into Middlesbrough, the Oak has a big stack of them next to the free condoms and lube. ;)
Nights out in Middlesbrough are worth it for the freebies.

Well, providing a decent magazine for LGBT people is one of the ultimate goals of Full Spectrum. We're working on it.
