Did that really just happen

In case to you didnt read my thread (http://www.emptyclosets.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3838) yesterday i was going to go out of coffee with a friend. Well she invited some friend some i didnt know so i scratched that. We went to see the movie Stardust. Then we got some more coffee. Then did some shopping. Towards the end of the day the other ppl went away. She gave me a lift home. We sat parked in my driveway for almost 2 hours talking, building up to it. Then she had to go home. She said she'd be on msn later. She was and after some more build up i told just a couple of minutes ago. I can't believe i frakking did that. I'm still shaking, I still feel weird.

Good for you. :eusa_clap I can imagine the agony, "Should I - Shouldn't I?". But you did it. If she's someone you can trust you'll know you did the right thing. We all want to tell the world we're gay but feel we can't for obvious reasons. So having told her you must feel some weight off your shoulders. As for feeling weird, hopefully what you're feeling is relief. The more people we tell, the more we realise that others are accepting. It's just taking that first step. Hopefully, it gets easier with time. Way to go!! :thumbsup:

That's exactly how I felt after telling the first person about my sexuality. We've been talking for almost 3 hours and there were countless moments when I could've told him but still I couldn't. And when I finally did, I felt very weird, not exactly relieved, just...weird. It was a couple of days later that I really began to feel much better, almost like a whole new person.

So, congrats!! I'm sure everything will be cool (!)
