does anyone have a guys volleyball program at their school?

ive gotten really into volleyball this year because of my friend emily being on the girls team and im one of her superfans. heh.
and i was just wondering, cause my school doesnt, if any of your schools do.

cuz sometimes girls join the football teams in our area
so i think they'll let u

I don't think they will allow you actually. I am not a Title IX scholar, but the main difference between the girls playing football example and this case is that the girls, in general, are the underrepresented gender in athletics. Furthermore, men's athletics are generally represented proportionally to student enrollment.

For the original poster though, don't be discouraged based on my assumptions though, ask the athletics director or coach. The worst they can do is tell you no.

yea we hav it at our school, i love volleyball but the coaches are really stupid, because if ur relli good (unlike me) they don't but u in the good team even if they say they will. >:(
