This is probably a lame question, but can guys wear skinny jeans? I just bought some jeans and one of them was "skinny jeans-esque", but I'm worried that I might look too girly or something. Their not skin tight or anything so I guess it's not really a huge problem. Sorry like I said, stupid topic....haha

They look hideous on guys. I don't think it's hot being/looking so skinny.

Some of the guys in school do wear it,m gay or straight
But sometiems they make me feel kinda tired like if their jeans are tooo tight, i couldnt breath lol
Tight jeans doi make guys look taller, but not too tight, personally i like tight guy denim jeans but not girls jeans on guys
But as long as you feel comfortable, just wear it

Personally, I would never wear them....but one of my friends wore some the other day and he looked great in them. So...I guess wear them if they look good on you....If not, then don't!

I want to start by saying I (almost always) don't care about fashion.
I think skinny jeans can easily look "girly" on a guy, but it depends on the rest of your clothes and your physique. Though, I see plenty of non-girly guys wear them.
But every time I see them on guys, I think they're really, really, really, really unattractive.

The main thing about any fashion or style is that you have to own it. You must be confident enough in what you are wearing to make the outfit work.

Yeah I have one pair of those skater boy jeans. You all know the kind lol, the ones that hang low so you can see the guys boxers :P
Most of my pants are "skinny jeans"
I like them like that because I freak out if my legs look fat...Its not that they are fat, because their not..its just the extra pant makes them look that way when they fold out.
With "skinny jeans" I dont have to worry about looking disproportional

i have a bubble butt. skinny jeans don't work well for me, they're way uncomfy. besides, i don't like wearing jeans. i only own one pair. my best friend like, takes me to shop because he says i can't dress myself haha. he says jeans work for me because i have long legs and a short body, so the jeans show off my long legs

Wear Under Armor under them to make sure you don't show an outline of your bulge! lol Unless that is the goal....

I like skinny jeans. I am always in jeans, nto always skinny jeans, but if someone invites me to the beach and doesn't say anything about swimming, I usually show up in jeans and my friends think it's awfully strange of me.

I don't have the figure for skinny fit jeans - they would look ridiculous. Regular fit, straight leg for me. They need to be comfortable.

I don't like wearing jeans. I find them too stiff (both new and used jeans). I usually just stick with cargo pants. I'm another one of those people who doesn't like tight pants, and doesn't care how they look.

Jeans are my whole wardrobe.
But skinny jeans are a bit too much.
I don't have the shape for 'em.
+, most guys look horrible in them.
BTW, what are all these different kinds of jean "structures", like low-rise, relaxed fit, etc.
And what's the difference?
mrrolemodel
14th Oct 2007, 07:53 PM
uhh. low rise sits lower on the waist, while jeans that arent would be higher up.
relaxed fit vs. slim fit, slim fit is just more defining.
theyre all kinda self-explanitory.

I work for a company that sells jeans etc, and do their online store website, so I could probably tell you what they all mean. To be honest though it probably won't help much.
The best thing is to go to a decent jeans store and try some on. Tell the assistant where they are too tight, too loose, too high or too low etc, and they should help sort you out the right style for you. It doesn't matter how the fit is described, what matters is that they are comfortable and you like how they look on you.
Also try not to pay for the trendy label. Diesel jeans at £160 really are no better than Levi's at £35, Wrangler at £25 or Lee Cooper at £20. All that extra money pays for is a label and maybe some fancy stitching or fake looking used effects. Avoid the unknown budget brands though, they aren't very good.

OK.
Thanks Paul. I've gone "shopping" recently and bought like 1 or 2 pairs of jeans and had no idea what to choose 'cause of all these styles.
 I felt kinda stupid.

They're fine on the right guys, but hell if i'd ever wear them. Granted, I don't like baggy pants, so any pants that are in between are perfect.
