Okay sure there are some hotter things... but does anyone watch UFC? Ultimate Fighting Championship - I believe.

Seriously watch it! It's one of those things I started watching for the obvious reason that it's two guys like wrestling in shorts, but gradually became an interest in the sport.

I myself am a wuss and never really liked sports, but dang catch an episode when they are wearing the trunks (not shorts, the tight ones) and tell me if that isn't hot.

DO IT!:eusa_danc

Nope but they are hot, I've looked at the mags in the news agency before.

UFC is pretty intense, much less theatrical than wrestling.

UFC is pretty intense, much less theatrical than wrestling.

Particularly because the primary difference between the two is that wrestling (I imagine you mean in terms of the WWE, for example), is theatrics, scripted sparring full of gimicks and storylines. The UFC, on the other hand, is what they call "shoot fighting," in other words, an actual mixed martial arts competition. In its infancy, it was much more brutal than it is today, because it lacked the many rules that bind it nowadays. Because of its brutality, however, it was banned from pretty much everywhere but pay per view. UFC practically went under...um, fairly recently (I'm thinking late 90s? early 00s?), but when the reigns were taken by the two guys who control it now, they were able to turn it into the sensation it is now, mostly by putting on a TON of bells and whistles (where it gets its similarities with shows like the WWE) as well as binding it with more rules.

All the same, the fighting is still legitimate and quite intense. If you're into shockingly-brutal fight club esque stuff, however, pick up some of their older pay per views on DVD. Some fantastic matches were had back then...like Shamrock Vs. Severn (the first match), Shamrock Vs. Gracie (what can I say, I'm a Shamrock fan!), etc, etc.

Indeed:grin:

Ultimate Fighting Championship is good to watch it on tv, but it will be great if I can watch it in real life.

I should have gone to one when I was in Vegas:dry:

I know seriously! How they do it is beyond me, although I imagine you kinda get turned off when the dude gives you a good smack in the face. But when they are grappling on the floor for a long time with faces in chest and legs wrapped around eachother, sometimes with certain things lined up..... man..... haha

If you pay attention some guys you can tell are having something going on in those shorts...... not ever too obviously but eh... good enough for me!
