he is kind of oblivious to things like these, and i am asking his opinion on two of my friends's argument on someone who is gay and if he says that he is okay with gays than i will tell him.

But in the future, once you're comfortable, try telling someone that you want to in person. For me, saying it out loud to someone made it that much more real and pronounced and made me feel a lot better.
