There's a ticker next to the subject line when you post a reply. (However, you actually have to "post reply" and not just do a quick reply.)

It's really problematic... I used to use this software that did the same thing and it caused no end of problems. Really, if you are posting in an anonymous thread, your post should BY DEFAULT be anonymised. Otherwise you are gonna get SO many people who want to post anonymously but forget to check the box (or, in this case, to make matters even worse, use the Quick Reply box, which doesn't allow you to anonymise). I think this form of anonymous posting (or rather, this method) is really poor and should be turned off until it can be changed.

It wont be changed, it wasn't edited since last year.
It wouldn't be hard to make it so theres a tick box in the Quick reply. But I don't know vBulletin code so I couldn't do it. Just make a post on the vBulletin forums asking how to do that Paul.

I should be able to make the tickbox ticked by default. However I won't be able to do anything about people using quick reply.

The main post/reply page now defaults to posts being anonymous (box ticked by default), and quick reply is disabled for this section. So you have to deliberately choose NOT to be anonymous.
I will amend the sticky thread (http://emptyclosets.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5254) to cover this now, and am closing this one to keep things tidy.
