1. I live with roomates. My mom lives pretty far away, and never comes over.

So am I. It is a responsible position and part of that responsibility is setting the right example to other users.

There is also the possibility that the management could find out of get suspicious of what you are doing and get an auditor or investigator in to check out the systems. If your employer suspects inappropriate use of their systems they can legally prevent you accessing the building or network and do this.

Windows passwords including the administrator one can be reset even if the administrator passwords are not known (that's very easy), internet providers can provide logs, encrypted files can be decrypted if the appropriate forensic methods are used.....

The contract of employment probably prohibits any inappropriate use of company equipment. So you could easily be fired and, depending on the type of material found, the matter could be referred to the police.

It's not worth the risk. Keep work at work, and pleasure at home.

The stuff I use is so tame that I keep my links on a Mac program called Stickies. My parents never use it, so it's safe. To give you an idea of what I mean by "tame", I'll give you the basic rundown of what's on there:
-YouTube profiles
-Stock image sites
-Simpsons fansites (mostly with large galleries. Homer is H. O. T., HOT!)
That's it. Hardly porn at all. My mother once told that if she caught me using porn, she'd cut me off from the computer completely, but I somehow suspect that if she knew what I use, she wouldn't even care.

I don't keep any porn really. I just go on website and watch the vid then delete it straight away. Its too risky to download it for me. I keep my passwords and websites at the end of a really long chain of music folders. lol

Oh yea I also have a passworded folder on my phone, I rarely keep any bad stuff on my phone for longer than a few hours. tho.

I use websites as well. I copied the URLs into one huge master-list and pasted it as a Draft in my hotmail account.

I just wipe the histories, cookies and cache after i'm all finished.

I don't have a lot of porn per se but I do have some kinky / hot videos and photos, as well as photos from the net, and Facebook of people I fancy.

Since I mostly use my Laptop, I keep ALL my documents, music, photos, etc in 4.3GiB Truecrypt encrypted containers (http://www.truecrypt.org/) so that if the laptop's ever stolen there's no personal information sitting around. I use 4.3GiB size so they are easily backed up onto DVD±RW's. I use the same password for all of the volumes, but one of them has a hidden volume with a different password where I keep all the goods. The main volume in that container just has some misc downloads.

I don't rely on websites because I've seen all kinds of good content removed or disappear in the past.

Here's a funny story: Me and my friends always have running jokes about porn on people's computers. One friend has a "hidden" sub directory in his download files called "Porn" and in it there's a Text file that basically says "Do you think I'd be stupid enough to put it in a folder called Porn?"

Anyways, I was copying some TV shows off one of his external external hard drives, and I wanted to see if he had any movies or songs on the drive, so I went to the root directory where there were two sub-directories:

\TV\
\System Folder\ (hidden)

Normally he turns on hiding hidden folders when people are over, but he forgot. I just pointed to "system folder" and said "?" He just said "Don't open that." So without actually looking in there it was pretty obvious what it was. Obviously I respected his wishes and didn't open it, but it was funny that I found it when I wasn't even trying. So now we just refer to porn as "system folder".
