I have a wii and I have the internet channel on it and I like to look at porn on it and now that it is getting close to christmas I am afraid my mom will catch me, she dosen't like me using the internet w/o supervision. I can't get my self to stop cause it helps me get to sleep I need some advice.

If you have a digital camera with SD card, you can download the porn you like and save it in SD card and see it on camera...I don't know if that'll work...

Or you can save it on your cell phone...

Or just make sure to erase every internet history and use computer.

Are you writing because you want to stop and can't, or because you're simply worried about your mom catching you. They are two different problems...

I may be overly sensitive to this, because I've had a problem with porn as well. You don't NEED porn to get to sleep at night. You should be able to stop if you want to - and if you can't then you have a problem.

Jim is right though. If your having problems with your porn viewing you should stop. Especially when your younger all you need is a good mind to get it up. At least that's the way it is with me (although I do watch porn). Perhaps giving up porn (I.e. the holidays) for a bit might be a good thing?

I have never found porn all that enjoyable. I mean, you seen one porn video you've seen them all. Somebody told me once to rent ones made by women because they actually have a storyline. I know that porn has it's advocates and protractors but each to their own. If the thought of no porn over the Christams period is making you unhappy how about magasines? There are some that have erotic stories which get your imagination going. Anyway just an idea.

YUP that's right, you can read erotic stories, because you can also motivate your imagination, and they always say stories are better than movies because you can imagine and create the picture inside your head your best own ways

Im really addicted to porn, i have to watch it everyday but sometimes I foudn out there are more thinsg better than it, liek music, go outside and play, but it's cold, so play inside, liek video games, watch comedies, if you wanna get to sleep, read, erotic stories are just interesting novels, after that you can feel tired an dcan fall to sleep easily, and if you dont liek reading like me, listen to music may help

You're absolutely not alone. It's quite possible to develop an addiction to masturbating and viewing porn. You get a kind of 'high' from doing it, and it's a way of avoiding problems or issues that you'd rather not deal with (like, perhaps, the fact that you're gay). Eventually it becomes almost habitual, and you can't stop, even though you'd like to. That's a sure sign that it has become a problem - if you want to stop, decide to stop, and then can't follow through.

It is possible though - you can stop. And to eventually enjoy a really healthy sexuality, you need to stop. PM me if you want to chat more. It can be totally confidential - I'd just like to help someone avoid the pain and distress that I've gone through.

...Like the exact same thing happened to me, like 3 of my friends saw my internet history (Didn't know how to clear it back then >.<) but then I hadn't told anybody anything about it and I couldn't think of any excuses so we were all just kinda silent O_O.

Just be really sure that you're OK with what you're doing. In your first post you were very unhappy about what you were doing - and I got the sense that masturbation was controlling you, rather than it being the other way around. There's a fine line between 'stress relief' and 'avoiding life's problems'. There should'nt be any guilt or shame around what you're doing if it's totally healthy and it's aligned with your own values. So if there are negative feelings associated with it, and you feel (at least afterwards) that you wish you could stop doing it, then it might be a problem.

And that can be kind of a scary thing to think about, but it can be overcome. Don't let this be another problem to avoid by 'medicating yourself' with masturbation.

But if it's not a problem - and you really are OK with it, then that's cool too. Enjoy! :grin:

When I look at porn. I don't actually masturbate. I tried once, but found it not really helping. Besides, I'm more of a psychological person. Sure I do have very strong physical reactions. But I prefer to hold that feeling rather then masturbate.

For me looking at porn is more because a part of my brain needs the sight in order to calm down. So like I said, I'm more psychological then anything else.

And even then, the porn I look at I don't really classify as porn because even though it could be classified as porn it is so much nicer then porn. At least with Cyber Dyke thats how I feel. It is probably though, because the women who work there are doing it because they want to and also they actually care for each other and not just doing it for the sake of it.
