because i was molested as a child i feel like i don't have a virginity to break. like i never had one. so being a vigin makes no difference to me. its like that was taken from me i guess. Totally, completely, and 100%. Personally I am flaberghasted that people think of being a virgin as a bad thing. I mean people are like "I am such a looser because I'm a virgin" and I feel like "Omg, god forbid you wait until you find someone who you care about to do something so intimate" (major sarcasm). I don't mean wait for the person you are going to spend the rest of your life with, but I feel that there should be some feelings the first time, or a complete and thorough understanding that is purely sex, no emotion, just to satisfy the animalistic instinct that surfaces. I agree. Having sex with someone just to lose your virginity is not a good idea, and you will probably feel worse about yourself (and possibly about sex) afterwards.

Wait until you are with someone you care about, then it will happen naturally and be much more pleasurable because it is an extension of your love and not a mere physical act.

i agree that the whole virgin/not virgin dichotomy is stupid and kind of pointless. we're all on a scale of virginity. if you've ever brushed your hips against someone and then masturbated later, are you a virgin? if you've ever kissed someone, are you a virgin? what about if you've breiefly fingered them? so i think the obsession with virginity is pretty pointless. the point is to be happy with your sexual experiences and happy in yourself. the end.

I am not a virgin in any of the four senses... and I wish I had lost it to someone special, I lost it to two guys (one of the senses to one, the remaining three to another)... and neither of them cared about me, they just used me for sex... I loved them but that didn't matter to them.
