Just Bought A Ps3

I got it for x-mas. Walmart had a deal... Buy the 80G one for 600 and get 10 blueray/HD/DVS free.

So... needless to say I got movies as well. lol

I had both consoles, but we got rid of the PS3 because no one really used it.

Im sure both consoles have their merits.

i have mostly all of the systemz just missin a few =(

i think ps3's good but not amazing i mean alot of the games that are comin out 4 it are good n most of them i want , but i wouldnt say the online is better than 360 i think 360 beats that hands down :bang:

What games have you got? I'd recommend Assassin's Creed, Oblivion and Resistance.

I personally have a 360, because I prefer the online service, controller and huge range of AAA titles, but I know lots of people like the PS3 as a blu-ray player and it shares a fair few of the great third-party games on 360.

One warning: do NOT get Orange Box on PS3. My friend got it, and even though it was delayed on PS3 for a few months, it's got horrible framerate problems. Just a warning.

lol I also have a wii. I sold back a few games taht I didn't like though. Wii is awesome because it has like the fun kid kind of games and then theres the PS3 for action type of games :)

Wii games tend to be immediate fun, especially with friends. The kind of thing you can pick up at any time and guarantee you'll have fun (eg: warioware, wii sports).

The 360/PS3 type of games tend to be (can't think of how else to word it) more "substantial" than most Wii games. Longer-lasting / more involved and complex (eg: assassin's creed, mass effect, halo 3, virtua fighter 5).

There's a market for both types of games. I fit in the 360 / PS3 market, and get deeply involved in a great RPG or play an FPS online for a few hours. I also love the Wii though.

i have a N64, gamecube, Wii, and xbox360. i've stayed out the the sony market.

I'm not much of a Sony fan, but I've got a PSP simply for the homebrew and emulators. =)
