Hi all!
Just wondering what the "membership category" breakdowns are. Like:
Junior Members 1 - 29
Member 30 - ?
Are there any more?

I'm sure there are but I don't know what they are. I think the names are the software defaults. If anyone has any good ideas for a scale (names and post counts), I could ask the forum owners if they can implement them.

I like the ones at JUB! But I guess we can't use some of those here... :icon_wink

Errr, no - I don't think the JUB ones are appropriate here.... :)

Agreed. And I think leaving them standard is just fine... but that's just me. I don't really care about categories... i really think that what matters is the person... and not how much he postes.

I tend to agree with Goratrix here. Also, changing the names of the categories would be hard if you wanted everyone to agree on the new names.

I suppose it would, I just was wondering how it was broken down... :)

I'm Guessing <-(key word) that we become senior members, or something similar at around 100+ posts.

If the next threshold is 100, we'll probably know in the next couple of days, looking at goratrix's post count!

I guess if the forum admins didn't change there is nothing beyond Senior Member.
Oh, well... I guess i need a life...

As EC is very much for the younger age group, perhaps we could use terms such as Junior, Senior, Freshman etc as in the US education terms (sorry for my ignorance, but I dont know the Canadian terms - and the UK terms are naff).

I wouldn't know... anyway... perhaps leaving the standard is ok. Who needs to be competitive when I am obviously winning ;-)

I love the HS/College titles, That would probably work great. At my HS we have freshmen, Sophmores, Juniors, Seniors, and then in summer band the people going into college are called super seniors; just to throw out a few ideas
