How much more stuff do you need Fred? And are there any particular areas that aren't covered yet or areas that you have already got plenty on?
Alexander

I have an article I wrote on health, but it's aimed at teenage gay men...
I could write a music review....
I could do an interview of the local PFLAG chapter head....
or a gay friend I know who got bashed a while ago and the effects it had/is having on him...
Let me know! :)

I'm currently drawing up a small LGBT themed cartoon, would that be okay?

Miaplacidus - sorry I haven't been able to get the prototype layout for the PSP version of the magazine to you yet - had some things come up but should be done in the next 12 hours. =)

Perhaps someone could research and write an obituary for Heath Ledger?
Miaplacidus
29th Jan 2008, 08:31 PM
The deadline has been changed. The new deadline is February 10, 2008. It won't be changed again, so please contribute or Full Spectrum 2.0 will be a blank magazine...
Thank you.

Roughly how many pages do you still need to fill?
Miaplacidus
31st Jan 2008, 02:12 AM
It is about 50% complete, but due to a couple very sad events which happened lately, FS 2 is beyond schedule.

Fred, I will have a very nice tribute to Jerry for you by Feb. 10th. Did anybody volunteer to write something about Heath Ledger?

Do you still need more stuff? If you do, contact me, I would love to help out in any way possible.

We always need more stuff ;)

Like what? I'm not exactly sure what to do or how to help, so ideas for how to help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you checked out the ideas previously detailed on this thread? That might be helpful. I'm very bad at picking "what". As a general rule, what is suitable for EC is suitable for Full Spectrum.

Have a look at the articles in FS 1.0, it may give you some ideas. Whatever interests you will probably interest others too.
Maybe something you did as an assignment for school or college and are rather pleased with? FS would be a great way to share it.

Becky's tribute to Jerry is nearing completion (we're proof reading it in the mods area) and it's excellent. She has received some good information and a lovely photo from Dan.
I don't think anyone is doing anything about Heath Ledger yet.

Nope. Remember, FEBRUARY 10TH... thanks.

At the moment we have four articles and a story (ready). We need at least two more, but there is no upper limit. If it has to be longer, it will be. It's just clicking a button.
Paul_UK
9th Feb 2008, 12:51 PM
Fred, I'm putting together another article for FS which should be done by tomorrow.
I hope you don't need it though (and can hold it over for FS3) so there aren't two articles by me in one edition.

9th Feb 2008, 01:53 PM
...I wanna try to write something.
Uhm, what does it have to be regarding?
Just...sexuality and realization in yourself?
Or is there like something more specific that FS is trying to portray?
Paul_UK
9th Feb 2008, 02:08 PM
Have you had a look at FS1? That may give some ideas.
Really though, anything you think will interest other EC members will be fine. It's good to have some variety so even if one article doesn't interest people, the next one probably will.
Do you have something that you wrote for a school assignment that you're pleased with and think could be interesting? Factual or fiction? Poetry? Artwork? Photography?
KatoKumi
9th Feb 2008, 02:19 PM
Hm I think I found something, but I need to make it longer. After reading some of the stuff there, it's pretty interesting to see all this written down. Normally because I'm not allowed to get any gay literature. I've always wanted a magazine like this; at least I can read it on the internet.
:/
I'm gonna go start to elaborate more on this entry I made.
This seems really cool; I wanna be a part of it too. [:

That's what I'd have said. Remember that the deadline is close though...

Realistically, unless you're going to be up all night on this, any new article would probably be derived from some existing work. That's what the one I'm working on is (currently with Becky for proof-reading).

Basically, that is what I'm doing [:
I have old musings of mine, and I'm trying to push them together into one big thought. I don't wanna submit like, one paragraph, lol.
Oh snap, I just realized it was the 9th.
Oh well, I might not get the paper finished, but there's a poem I've always wanted other people to see. So idkk.
Geesh this is so exciting for some reason, haha.

Yes, Paul.
You can expect Full Spectrum 2.0 by next Monday, if the Release Candidate is approved. You can expect the RC on Saturday or so.

When can we expect FS2?

Fred said in another thread that it will be 1st March. He is going for a two-month release cycle.
So not long to wait now. :)

I wouldn't mind writing some articles for future magazines. Could you maybe give me and others on EC some ideas of some topics that would be interesting to read.
Alexander
29th Feb 2008, 07:44 AM
Basically everything is accepted as long as it's appropriate. It doesn't even have to be gay themed or anything.
Paul_UK
29th Feb 2008, 10:40 AM
Have a look at the articles in FS1 and in FS2 when it's released for some ideas. There is no specific theme to the mag though, other than interesting articles by and for EC members.

The text for FS2 is officially complete, I'm in the process of putting it all together. So expect it soon.

Fred has sent me most of the articles for a quick check over and they all comply with the EC Code of Conduct. That is the only involvement the mod team have with the content of FS, everything else is the work of the FS team and contributors.
There is a good range of interesting articles, so we can look forward to another excellent publication. :)

Sorry again but well, as you might know I just started college which implies that I go to Montevideo at 8 AM and don't come back until 8 PM. I'll try to finish it today, I don't have to go.
