There are all sorts of things you can do to put yourself in the right 'frame of mind' to sleep. Before anything you need to look at what time you wake up and gat up and then what you do in the day.
If you wake late in the morning it is no surprise that you are not tired at night and your body has lost it's normal day/night rythme.
Get up at a reasonable hour, work, go to school, do whatever it is you do everyday and try to squeeze in 30 mins of excersize, eat regularly proper meals through out the day but prefereably not late at night then set yourself a bedtime routien.
Have a bath, watch the TV, read a book, whatever makes you feel relaxed then do this EVERY night, you body will soon respond with a sleep reflex and once you have gone through your routien your body/mind will be set for sleep.
If you can't manage by yourself there is a very good homeopathic remedy called Cyclamed which you can find in all good pharmasists which might help.

Well basically you have to spend up all your energy for that day to be able to sleep, cuz your energy is all goen and you feel tired and need to sleep.
For teh last hour, do little exercises9 i may spell wrong lol0 so that will help your bklood flow , and your nerves to relax.
You ahve to go to sleep in teh sam epartern everynight, not today is 12;00, morrow is 10:00, next night is 11:)0, becaus eyou have to develope the sleepign habit, so till the time to go to sleep, yoru body will automatically resposnse and you feel liek you need to go to bed
Drink tea will help , but soem peopel say no
READ, yoru eyelids will get tired after you read , I fall asleep easily when i do my homework
Take a hot warm shower

Establish a set time for sleeping and being awake. Meaning, go to bed at a reasonable time each night (weekends, holidays included) and wake up at a reasonable time. No strenuous activity before bed (workouts can increase alertness for up to two hours after) no caffeine after say about 4 PM or so. Establish a ritual for getting ready for sleep (warm bath, shower, anything let helps you relax).

I agree that getting into a routine is a good way of improving your sleep pattern. I am almost always in bed by midnight, whether it's a work day, weekend or holiday. And on weekends I am usually up by 8:30am (I set the alarm to that), compared to 7am on weekdays.
