A+ Competition

Okay so there is a computer (A+ certified) competition. And in my class I'm one of the "smarter" people but in the "smarter end" of people I'm on the "low end" if that made sense to you. So I really don' know if I should enter the competition because I don't want to make a fool of myself but I want to try. Another thing is my class is hands on because we run our own computer shop so our class is a bit more on the higher end then most like ours. But yeah... I don't want to make a fool of myself because even though I'm one of the smarter ones I'm not so smart as the smart guys in my class. I still want to try but don't know if I really should or not .. So any input?:confused:

Do you know what the competition involves?

I'm a Comp Sci student so might be able to make helpful suggestions if you can be more specific.

Surely there is no harm in trying. :)

A+ certified is a hardware but it can have software too. If I do do it I have to find a good computer kit though becauase right now I just got the basic repair kit.

I say, give it a go, nothing ventured nothing gained. There are loads of people here who would be happy to help if you ask specific questions.

Don't worry about making a fool of yourself, only one person can ever win a competition but you need several participants to make it interesting. EVEN if you don't win it will be a learning experience which will help you do better next time.

If the kids in your class are going to think you foolish then they are not very nice people to know, we can't all be computer wiz kids, but that doesn't make you a fool (well I hope not coz I'm useless on a computer).

there is no limits to what anyone can do so never doubt ur gifts. if it's one thign i have leant about academic competitions is that it's not about who is the smartest, it's about who has the skills :) do u have computer skils?
