damn situation

fu**!! A real shit has happened right now! and i need your advice...
yesterday, i met 2 friends of mine (both girls). i left earlier, but the one girl spent the night at the other girl's house.
so when the doorbell rang today, it was them standing in front of my house and laughing a bit, like being amused about something. i meant no harm by it...
but then, one of them said like "hey, we have something for you, you forgot something". the gave me a slip of paper and when while reading it, i realized what it was: i forgot this piece of paper at the house from the day before.on this paper i wrote down some links, so that i don't forget them...but it wasn't just normal kinds of links, it was more, you know, gay-links. and it was obvious, because i had written comments next to every link! somehow it must have slipped out of my trouser pocket!

and now, i just dont know what to do! its so shameful >.< i mean, now they probably found out that i'm gay, but not in a normal way. they saw those notices about gay-porn.... either it disgusted them, or they laughed about it (or both). i don't know why they brought this paper back to me, i think it would've been better if they had just kept it like nothing happened....but what should i do now?
talk about it with them, or just ignore the whole thing and say no word about it? it's just so bad cause i dunno, if i out myself, if they can keep that secret...
or should i tell em an excuse? if yes, which?

i can understand if you laugh about it, because it's really stupid and i'm such a fool>.<
but i hate myself for that....:eusa_doh: it would be great if you could give some advices, cause i feel so fucked up right now! :icon_sad:

They seem very cool about it. It sounds to me more like they're laughing at the mistake you made, rather than laughing at you for being gay. If for some reason they never liked your sexuality then I don't think they would have come round to your house to give you the paper back, and you probably would have been able to tell by their body language or the way they acted that they did not like it. It sounds to me like they're just laughing at a very unfortunate mistake. Talk to them and make sure they don't tell anybody. :) You will be able to be a lot more open to them now, despite them only finding out by accident.

Laughing wasn't the best thing for them to do, but their reactions could have been so much worse. :)

I agree with martini. I would just bring it up with them and say "hey, did you read what was on the note?" Then if they say yes say something like "hey, my secret is out!" Talk to them about it and ask them to keep it confidential if that's what you want. I don't think you should ignore it.

I would definitely say talk to them. You have no idea what their intentions where by bringing it back unless you do. I get the feeling though that if they wanted to exploit you then they wouldn't have had the decency to return it. I'd definitely make a point to talk to them and help them understand what them knowing truly means.

i just said i wanted to excuse and that its ok if she wouldnt like us to be friends anymore, and how much i feel ashamed of it, but she said its ok and it wouldnt matter...
just so great cause i never thought i'd have the heart to do something like that;)

edit: but still there is this shame about it>.< but i will get over it and they will forget;P

hey. personally i would ignore it even tho most people would probably say tell them the truth. If I were you I'd probably just make up some excuse if your not ready to be exposed to everyone. :icon_wink
