I was kidding about the hardcore gamer thing, anyone can post and I wont be too mad :icon_wink

Wow, so many that I love...I dunno if I could pick just one...

I'd have to be between any of the Fire Emblems, Kingdom Hearts, and Final Fantasy X...and I'd think I'd pick FFX, just because the characters became so human throughout the course of the game. I can honestly say I loved (or hated, in Yuna's case) every single one of them...and the ending makes me cry every time. Pure love for that game.

Kingdom Hearts!

Sora+Riku=HAWT!!!

This is true. Very true. Bonus points for Kingdom Hearts, then.

All the Legend of Zeldas are brilliant (esp. Ocarina of Time and Link to the Past) but I'm afraid that playing Twilight Princess on Wii, swinging the sword around with the remote just kicks ass! The graphics are brilliant, the storyline brilliant (although predictable at times) plus all the extra stuff you get to do in wolf form (eg howling, picking up scents) is a nice touch. I adore this game!

I know. I seriously need to get GH3.

But my favorites:
All Resident Evils
GH2 and GH3 (I need to get my own GH3 instead of leeching off of my friend)
Rock Band
Halo 3
Kingdom Hearts
Final Fantasy X, X-2, XII

Ahh. I love dota. I wonder if anyone else around here plays it.

Anyway, my favorite game ever would probably have to be Elder Scrolls III Morrowind. I love the atmosphere. Oblivion just wasn't the same for me.

I'm into pretty much any RPGs and RTSs, but lately I've been convinced into playing some FPSs too by my friends. CSS being the main one. I'm still denying it to myself, but I'm starting to admit I enjoy it. :)

I've actually thought about this before and made a top 10 list.

10. Metroid: Zero Mission (GBA)
The replayablity of this title is endless.
9. Rock Band 2 (Multi)
Even better than the first, and a lot more challanging songs.
8. The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker (GCN)
Best Zelda game IMO
7. Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistance (PS2)
A great update to a great stealth/survival game. And yes, it's a legit survival game.
6. Metroid Prime (GCN)
Does perfection have a name? I think so.
5. Dance Dance Revolution: Extreme 2 (PS2)
I love the series in general, but this is my favorite.
4. Tales of Symphonia (GCN)
Long, good story; great gameplay; and it's just plain fun.
3. Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition (Wii)
The original RE4 was damn near perfect. The remake is basically perfect.
2. The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion (XB360)
So much fun, and so much content!
1. World of Warcraft (PC)
Talk about content and replayablity.

Honorable Mention:
God of War II (PS2)
So much blood!:icon_twis It's pretty fun, too.
Animal Crossing (GCN)
A very immersive game, and one of the few games where what you put in is directly proportional to what you get out of it.

Pengo was the name of the game. They used a midi version of "Popcorn" for the music. Whoever made the video used the original version of the song for "Act 4" (around 3:40 into the clip). And yes, I used to go and get a buttload of quarters (or tokens) and play this game over and over.

Hard to say just one...so I'll list a few in no specific order.

Final Fantasy 10 & 12 - I believe them to be the best of the FF Series, great story, characters, gameplay.

The Disgaea Series - Lighthearted and very hardcore strategy RPG, almost unlimited replayability, whats not to love.

Xenosaga 1 - One of my favorite turn based battle systems, and I just loved the tech system in it, and awesome characters.

The World Ends With You - Has one of my favorite game soundtracks ever, great innovative battle system, tons of customization.

Valkyria Chronicles - Not done yet so not sure on this yet but so far its graphics are amazing and it has a very cool battle system and storyline.

Feel The Magic XY/XX - Just felt the need to put this in here, I had so much fun with this game.

Little Big Planet - How can you not love it, so many awesome user created levels, awesome storyline and tons of customization!

Kirby's Dreamland 2 - I haven't played this in years but it still remains as one of my favorites.

Pokemon Silver - To me the most memorable of all the pokemon games, and my favorite of them, I've spent way to many hours playing it. xD

Super Smash Bros. Brawl/Melee - Probably my favorite party game, but alone it gets boring so fast...

And last but not least...
Klonoa 2 - A great platformer, awesome characters and just all around fun.

Wow...well thats a few more than I meant to say but I can't help it, there's so many good games! >w<

Hotel Dusk: Room 215. I absolutely loved this game (I've completed it now) but the storyline is brilliant, the dialogue perfection, and the puzzles are challenging yet doable. You get a real sense of acheivement when you beat this game.

OMG I am SOOOOOO KIDDING!! :roflmao::roflmao:

Seriously, My top 5 would have to be:

1. Final Fantasy Series - They're all great (with the exception of FF X-2, wtf was THAT?!), and I'm FINALLY playing FF 12 right now!!

2. Resident Evil 4 - quite possibly a "perfect" game, definitely a benchmark. I pray that RE5 lives up to the quality of RE4.

3. Kingdom Hearts I & II - what could have been the dumbest idea in video game history has actually turned out to be one of the most fun and novel concepts I've ever played. Now, what the hell ever happened to KH III?!

4. Zelda - all of 'em. Every one. Nintendo just "gets it", at least with their games, lol!

5. Mario - see number 4.

Wii Music FTW

I got it for my birthday and I've barely stopped playing. YES, I know, it's not like real instruments. YES, I know you can't play your own songs. YES, I know Rock band is more realistic. But the sheer beauty is that there is no competition. You are arranging music for the pure fun of it, putting in cheerleaders and dogs in your music for the fun of it.

Golden Sun! Best series ever. I also love Soul Calibur, Tekken, and WarioWare. Valkyrie Profile is pretty good, too.

God yes! I've got both Golden Sun and The Lost Age. One particular battle that drove me mad was that Poseiden battle to get into Lemuria.

lol, you just need the Trident.

I still haven't beaten Dullahan. :'(
I have all 72 Djinn and awesome stats, and I just can't seem to summon enough Eclipses. lol

>>>Wii Music FTW

Since you've played, you might enjoy this.

John Cage is an avant-garde composer who is perhaps best known for writing 4'33". That's a piece where the ensemble - be it a solo artist, or an entire orchestra - simply plays nothing for four minutes and thirty three seconds. So I created a Mii for John Cage, and had him and five friends perform "Do-Re-Mi" in the concert hall. All six musicians simply stood there. Didn't play a note. Right at the end, I had all of them do that down-arrow, "ta-DA!" move. It looks killer. :D

The Legend of Zelda series
Super Mario RPG
Resident Evil 4 (I haven't really played the other games in the series unfortunately...)
Fatal Frame series (These games scare the crap out of me. haha)
Beyond Good and Evil
The 2D Metroids (I never played the newer ones...)
Super Smash Bros. series
Chrono Trigger
Chrono Cross
Castlevania series

There's probably a bunch more that I don't remember at the moment...

Yeah, me and my friends recorded that. ALL on "NES horns". :) We should send each other some songs to futz around with.

My personal favourite instrument is the Violin and the Cello on this game :D I thought it would be the guitar as I like to play it in real life but I took an immediate shine to the violin. My prime acheivement so far is my rendition of Swan Lake on the violin :D And my handbell skills on the game section

What's your fave instrument then? Other than the NES horn?

I actually don't play NES horn much. It just fit for that song. :)

Like you, it's weird what I like playing. I really like the accordion, the shamisen, and the jazz drum set. Three things I can't play to save my life in real life. (But then again, I can't play much in real life at all.)

Okay, I'm completely addicted to City Folk. I missed about an hour of sleep last night staying up to trade items with a guy in Japan. Who could only speak through a translator. Everything I wrote he had to copy into an online translator, which would spit it out in Japanese. He would have to interpret that, put his response in, spit it out in broken Engrish, and type that back to me. It took about a minute or two per sentence, but it ended up netting me some Japan-only items like rice cakes and Ogre masks.

And now I'm about to sell that guy an espresso maker in exchange for some bamboo and festival banners.
