The Full Spectrum team is happy to announce that our second release in the 1.x series (version 1.1) is available for download at www.fullspectrummagazine.com.

Full Spectrum 1.1 is a version of our magazine designed for screen display exclusively. It has the benefit of being only a third of 1.0's size (3.3 MB instead of 10 MB), but the disadvantage of being unsuitable for printing. As for the content and look, it looks the same as the original when displayed on-screen.

I have just printed a page from that version and, as expected, the text is completely clear and sharp but the images suffer a bit from the compression. If you are printing for ease of reading and aren't bothered by less-than-perfect photo quality then it's OK printed.

Indeed, most of the text is vector-based (same as 1.0). Notorious exceptions are the header and the text on EC's ad.

It's possible to print it as Paul said, but that implies pixelated images - so if you want to print Full Spectrum, we recommend 1.0.
