Breaking up :(

Steve and I were together for about 1 month and I decided to break it off. Its not that anything was wrong, he is actually a nice person, but after getting to know him more I reazlied he was just not really my type. I think I went into the relationship because I did not want to be alone, and its not alway a good reason to get into a relationship.

I think I hurt him because he ws crying at the other end. I feel bad as well, because I gave him mixed messages. But sometimes people do this in relationships.

It would be a mistake to carry on a relationship that I am not into in the long run. Although, I ended it. Its still sad when people seperate.

For a future reference, you should not get into a relationship with someone just because your alone or feel like you need someone. Like you said yourself, that is not a good reason. If you feel that someone is not your type to begin with, then don't even bother starting a relationship with that person, and especially if you don't attend to stay in a relationship with that person. I am sorry that it didn't work out for you guys.
