One single favourite song? Be it for the week, day, month or a lifetime, I simply could never do that. There are so many, almost like relationships with people; some, you will love instantly, but sooner or later, realize that they're not as wonderful as you thought. Others, you will hate instantly, seemingly for no reason; of which there may be some you realize you DO, in fact, like once you get to know them.

While yes, it does seem that there is a best friend (or song) of a lifetime for everyone, because of the impact that they all have on our lives, and those of which we would have liked, had we met them, I think it is truely impossible to love just one song forever, for now, or for then, as simply the best.

But yeah, it really depends on what kind of mood I'm in. If I'm in a kind of quiet mood it's Chantal Kreviazuk's "In This Life" or Snow Patrol's "Run".
