First off, read this if you haven't:

Anyway, I just got off the phone with my parents (19 minute conversation). They watched the Superbowl in the family room on the big screen then the letter got lost with some other stuff on the bed so they didn't read it until around 11 pm.
Anyway, they're accepting and I'm so happy. I couldn't have better parents. My dad said it wasn't quite a surprise because he knew something was up and he was sad I spent 4 years not enjoying my life and felt like I couldn't tell them. He also said that it was one thing for him to be supportive but it was another to guide me since he didn't know what to do and said some of it is still a mystery to him (he's still accepting) so he suggested I talk to the school psychiatrist (not in a bad way) or someone who would understand and help. In my letter I wrote that I was just "me" and that I wouldn't ever be promiscuous or a druggie and he said that's the most important thing. My mom said that she was happy that I could open up to them and that she didn't love me less-- she loved me more. And that I still couldn't date yet (but I asked her if I could date in college and she said yes. Before she said I could only date after college, lol).
And no internet dating. Sorry Tezzy Bear. I guess if I move to Australia it won't be online. :P
So they said I can talk to them anytime . . . I'm so happy. :icon_bigg
